Hewes Hill Crag Day

Adventure Awaits, Owls!

Ready to climb higher this semester? Join us for our first local crag day at Hewes Hill in Swanzey.

Just 15 minutes from campus, Hewes Hill is the perfect spot to get outside, explore, and challenge yourself on real rock. After a scenic 30-minute hike in, we’ll dive into the basics of outdoor climbing—belaying, knot tying, and Leave No Trace principles—all while soaking up some fresh air and fun.

Whether you’re brand new to climbing or already a pro on the wall, this trip is the perfect chance to learn new skills, meet fellow adventurers, and see what the Outing Club is all about.

No experience needed—just bring your sense of adventure!
